1. Senior Deployment Engineer
The Senior Deployment Engineer will be responsible for deploying high-performance Linux streaming server clusters for interactive TV gaming solutions into the headends of major cable TV and telecom IPTV providers. In addition, the candidate will orchestrate the daily operations and periodic maintenance (including software upgrades) of the servers, frequently to be performed remotely by operational personnel. This position requires the candidate to develop a deep and thorough operational understanding of all components of the clustered game server technology to the level of being able to diagnose and anticipate problems and implement their solutions.
The candidate will work closely with the server engineering, software QA, and game development teams to facilitate the deployment of new software releases and to stage monthly game channel updates into the field. The candidate will coordinate with integration and deployment partners to complete the end-to-end gaming solution.

Having a solid background in software engineering and networking along with a flexible mind for creative problem solving is a must. Skills Required:
- Advanced understanding of Linux-based server cluster systems.
- Hands-on abilities with blade server hardware and the requisite router fabric and firewalls / VPNs needed for remote administration.
- Knowledge of and experience with installing and maintaining RedHat / CentOS Linux servers, Apache2 servers, Java application servers, and MySQL database servers.
- Experience with cable TV headends (RF networking, QAMs, Set-Top Boxes, etc.) required.
- Experience with IPTV networks preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage deployments and operations effectively.
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills to solve problems in complex server clusters.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented focus.
Qualifications required:
- 5+ years experience deploying server clusters in cable headends.
- 5+ years experience in system software engineering.
- Solid scripting (Perl, BASH, Python, etc.) capability required.
- C/C++ programming experience preferred.
- BS Degree (Computer Science preferred).
