2. Casual Game Programmer
This opening is for a game programmer with broad, general skills. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong programming skills, organizational skills, and communication skills both written and verbal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of C++ programming experience
- 5+ years of game programming experience
- Strong Visual Studio Experience
- Demonstrable ability to write clear, well-organized code, and follow coding conventions (bring code samples)
- Ability to work effectively with non-technical people such as artists, producers, writers, and game designers
Past experience in interactive TV or VOD is a plus. Past experience with casual game programming is a plus. Linux experience is a plus. A strong interest in casual games is required.
In addition to your primary focus on game programming, you will be required to participate in the following additional areas:
- Providing technical assistance to other developers
- Creating and deploying game releases
- Designing games and creating game ideas by working with producers and game designers
- Improving the platform by working with platform developers
- Writing documentation
