3. Software QA Engineer
The Software QA Engineer will be responsible for testing the end-to-end functionality of the TAG system. The candidate will be responsible for testing the Game Developer Kit which requires compiling the code in both Linux and Windows. The candidate will write test cases based on the current specifications of the GUI application. He/she will be responsible for compatibility testing of all the games running in the server platform. The ability to setup his/her own servers in Linux is important in order to certify the content running on the current platform. The candidate will also be expected to install the server/content and test at our San Jose QA Lab during the Integration testing phase or as needed basis
The candidate must have the initiative to take responsibility for quality and work with the team to create a high quality product.
Technical Qualifications
- 4+ years GUI-based testing and/or software development
- Knowledge and experience with web server and web application technologies
- Working familiarity Linux and Windows operating systems
- Organizational skills to effectively manage GUI testing
- Experience in the media or entertainment industry preferred but not required
Personal Qualification
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must have at least 4 years experience in testing or developer role
- BS preferred
