4. Senior Server QA Engineer
The Sr. Server QA Engineer will primarily be responsible for testing the backend tier of TAG's server platform. The candidate will work closely with the developers and must have worked with MySQL or large enterprise database applications running in Linux or Unix. He/she will author testcases that will cover the core part of the database engine and multi-player system. The candidate's role will eventually expand to include build and release of the server for the Database, Application Server and Game Server software.
The candidate must have the initiative to take responsibility for quality and work with the team to create a high quality product.
Technical Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Database and backend testing
- Functional skill level in installing servers in the Linux environment
- Ability to design and develop complex test cases.
- Thorough understanding of database schema and query development
- Experience in Build and Release Management
- Experience in the media or entertainment industry preferred but not required
Personal Qualifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must have at least 4 years experience in testing or developer role
- BS preferred
