5. Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master
The scrum master is responsible for combining successful software development process experience with effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills across our entire Company. Our ideal candidate will: serve as scrum master for three teams concurrently; identify and remove roadblocks for teams; work with the Product Owner and development team to ensure sprint goals and backlog features are held to; and ensure that the methodology guidelines are followed (collaboration, prioritization, accountability).
Position Requirements:
- The candidate must have 2-4 years experience leading commercial software development projects using iterative methodologies and have thorough knowledge of development and process concepts/practices/procedures.
- This person will be responsible for guiding the day-to-day process of development activities. This includes leading and running monthly planning sessions with the team and product stakeholders, conducting review meetings, collecting and reporting progress metrics on a regular basis, and facilitating interaction between developers and stakeholders.
- The project manager/scrum master facilitates the development process and ensures timely delivery of work products. The successful applicant will be a creative problem solver, a self motivator, posses a "can do- attitude, positive mentoring skills and accomplishments, and demonstrate career building self improvement behaviors.
- The scrum master will be responsible for advising and coaching to form empowered teams.
